At re:lay ("we", "us", or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard your information when you use our email management client and dashboard.

By accessing or using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any terms of this policy, please do not use the Service.

Information We Collect

To provide you with a functional dashboard to monitor and manage your emails, we collect and process the following information:

A. API Keys & Credentials

To authorize requests to Resend, you must supply your Resend API keys. These credentials are input by you and are used solely to query the Resend API endpoints on your behalf.

B. Email & Domain Metadata

Our dashboard syncs and displays email metrics (such as sent volumes, bounces, clicks, delivery events, domains, and templates). This data is cached or stored temporarily in our database to compile dashboard graphs and deliver historical tracking.

C. Log & Usage Data

When you use re:lay, we may automatically collect basic browser logs, IP addresses, access times, page views, and interactions to debug the software and optimize user experience.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following professional purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To display sync updates, send drafts, manage domains, and visual analytics of your Resend account activities.
  • Security & Encryption: Storing and verifying API keys securely so you do not have to re-enter them constantly.
  • Performance Optimization: To identify bottlenecks, fix UI/UX issues, and monitor API error rates.
  • Support: To address technical problems, respond to support emails, and process user inquiries.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, synced email metrics, or API keys to any third-party advertising companies or data brokers.

Data Security and Retention

We take data security extremely seriously. We use industry-standard encryption protocols (including SSL/TLS in transit and encryption-at-rest databases) to safeguard sensitive information such as API keys.

Data Retention: We store synced email metadata, domain lists, and templates as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service.

If you delete your re:lay account or request API key removal, we will purge your associated credentials and cached email synchronization logs from our production databases within 30 days.

Third-Party Service Providers

We integrate with other platforms to run our service. These include:

  • Resend:Your email data is sent to and retrieved from Resend's APIs. We advise reviewing Resend's privacy documentation to understand how they handle outbound email logs.
  • Hosting Providers: Our servers are hosted on platforms such as Vercel and databases are maintained on managed secure servers.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized website usage statistics.

These third parties only have access to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

  • Keep you logged into your dashboard session.
  • Store local preferences (such as sidebar toggle states or theme presets).
